SAP

SAP is an Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) software designed to provide seamless integration of business processes for different industries. SAP is designed in a manner that it provides high level of customization along with many standard processes already incorporated. SAP helps customers to provide them a platform to meet the business challenges and gain competitive advantage. SAP helps customers in business expansion in different geographies by providing management and other stakeholders a channel to do profitability analysis and resources utilization.

SAP has various modules which are very tightly integrated with each other and these can be implemented based on client requirements in phased manner.

Some of the important modules of SAP are MM, PP ,SD ,QM, FI,CO and HCM.

SAP Has classified its modules into three categories
1) Logistics
2) Accounting
3) Human Resources

MM,PP SD,QM are parts of logistics module , FI & CO are part of Accounting module while HCM has been put under human resources.
